There will be demonstrations of:
Silk worms at work-making silken threads
Ornamental ironwork by
a blacksmith
Flax Spinning
Weaving on the Larkin barn loom
Tour the Park on the hay
wagon.
Watch members of the Weavers Guild
of Buffalo, card, spin and weave a scarf from the fleece
of the Park sheep Bernice.
Buy a raffle ticket and if you win, the scarf is yours.
Tickets are $1 and are
available at the festival.

Meet the animals of Knox
Farm: sheep, llama and goats; alpacas, angora goats and a miniature horse.
Award- winning Buffalo Creek Llamas will
be present.
Angora goat shearing: Benny, Ma and Auntie Em.
The Knitting Guild of Greater Buffalo
presents:
Basic knit and purl instruction for beginners.
Knitting Rx: bring your problem project and get
help from the experts.
Have lunch with us: Cub Scouts, Daily's and Go Veggies

Enter your handmade work in the "Show Off Your Scarf Showcase"
Bring
a scarf you have made (knit, crochet, weave, felt, sewn, etc)
to the scarf tent before 11 am.
Pay the $1 entry fee and hang your scarf in either the "Classic"
or "Funky" category.
Festival-goers will "vote" with quarters.
Winners announced by
3 pm. Prize money !! in both categories.
Proceeds to benefit the Park animals.
