About our sheep:

Today, most sheep live on large, overcrowded farms. They are bred and raised for wool under very harsh conditions.

Sadly, most farm animals will never feel the warmth of the sun, a cool breeze, a light rain, or grass beneath their feet.

We do not breed our sheep. Although lambs are wonderful and cute, we would soon run out of room if our sheep had babies. Then, what would happen to them? When we are able to bring additional sheep into the park, we will adopt them.

Knox Farm sheep have a safe, comfortable home and ten acres of pasture to roam. They will live their entire lives at the park.

Sheep are gentle and curious animals but they are easily frightened. Sheep think and react differently than we do. They live in a flock for protection, but each individual has a wonderfully unique personality.
